On December 3-4, the “Promoting Inclusive and Sustainable Tourism Development”online learning and experience exchange activities jointly organized by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation, the Organization of World Heritage Cities in Mexico and the China Association of Trade in Services was successfully held. More than 30 representatives of World Heritage Cities from Chinaand Mexico, including Mexico City, Luoyang, Huai'an and Dunhuang, attended themeeting.
Invited by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation, Dr.Li Xin, Deputy Secretary-General of WHITRAP, gave a report entitled The Latest Progress in the Protection of Chinese Cultural Heritage, introduced experience in resuscitating tourism under the epidemic situation to representatives of Mexico , and pointed out that in addition to strengthening online market expansion, the surrounding tourism market should be continuously developed by digging down inside heritage value.
