2013 International Youth Summer Camp on Chinese World Heritage

In December 2010, the United Nations General Assembly declared 2013 as the United Nations International Year of Water Cooperation (Resolution A/RES/65/154). UN-Water has called upon UNESCO to lead the 2013 United Nations International Year on Water Cooperation, particularly because of the Organization’s unique multidisciplinary approach which blends the natural and social sciences, education, culture and communication.

In the frame work of UNESCO 5C Strategy, according to World Heritage Convention‘s requirement, World Heritage Institute of Training and Research for the Asia and the Pacific Region (WHITRAP) will hold the 2013 International Youth Summer Camp on Chinese World Heritage (the tenth session), from 17 July to 23 July, 2013, in Suzhou City ,P.R.China.
