Sino-Italian Design Innovation Center Was Established in Tongji University |

On April 21st, Sino-Italian Design Innovation Center was established in Tongji University. The center under the aupices of Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC and the Italian Ministry of Public Administration and Innovation, aims to build the largest “Sino-Italian design and innovation industrial cluster” in China, and to promote a comprehensive cooperation between the two sides. WAN Gang, Minister of Science and Technology, and Renato BRUNETTA, Italian Minster for Public Administration and Innovation, attended the ceremony and unveiled the nameplate of the center.
As a major part of ongoing project of “City of Italian Design Innovation”, the center attracts more than 50 enterprises from industries of architecture, urban design, industrial design, fashion, digital media and animation from the two countries. WHITRAP Shanghai, to be a partner of the center, will conduct further exchange and cooperation in terms of the cultural heritage conservation between China and Italy. |
