An Expert Meeting on Historic Architecture Conservation was held in Sinan Massion Shanghai on April. 26th. Doctor Li Xin, the Director of Research Unit of WHITRAP Shanghai, attended the meeting. The participants first paid a field inspection on two major preservation and restoration projects— Jianye Lane in Xuhui district and Sinan Massion in Luwan District, and exchanged views with designers and constructors on the spot. In the follow-up symposium, participants conducted in-depth discussions on the two projects, emphasizing on further researches of conservation mode and techniques. |
