FAQ: 2022 Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases |

Since the official launch of the international case collection for “2022 Global Awards for World Heritage Education Innovative Cases”(click to read more, and will be referred to as “the award” as follows) on July 17, there have been positive responses from various sectors such as heritage sites, education, science and innovation, etc. While actively participating in the application, they have also consulted the organizing committee through various ways. In order to enhance the interactive participation of the application of the award, here we provide answers to some typical and representative questions. This work will continue to be carried out in accordance with the progress of the application in the future.
1. Q: Can I make an application for a site not listed on UNESCO official World Heritage list?
2. Q: We are in a less-developed region. Could you provide us with some support and help in the application?

A: Yes.

With the strong support of all parties, the preparatory work for the annual award ceremony: the World Heritage Creative Innovator Forum 2022 is progressing smoothly. In the forum, not only the winning cases will be released and shared internationally, but also the one-stop combing and sharing of the world’s most cutting-edge innovation and development model of heritage sites based on science and innovation will be shown and introduced. The forum will truly become a platform for efficient jointing and sharing between world heritage creative innovators and heritage sites.
