2024 Fall Interships at WHITRAP Shanghai

WHITRAP Shanghai will recruit 6 interns from 1 September 2024 to 31 January, 2025.

The deadline of the application is 30 June, 2024. Offer will be sent to selected candidates before 30 July, 2024.

Position： 5 Project Assistants

Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above on relevant majors, Foreign Language, Urban Planning, Architecture, Culture, Arts, Environment Engineer or Design etc. are preferred.

2. Good command of English, especially in written English.

3. Having Work experience in the International Organizations, Government or Administration, Non-Government Organizations is preferred.

4. The ability of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator etc is preferred.

5. At least three days a week, full time interns are preferred.

6. Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Responsibility

1. Assistance to prepare for workshop, training, meeting and research etc.

2. Translation.

3. Assistance to promote activities, including newsletter, website and WeChat etc.

Position：1 Research Assistant

Research Topics

● Cultural Heritage Preservation / Restauration

● Climate Action of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in China

● Policy research

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Cultural Heritage, Museology, World Heritage Management, Data analysis, Monitoring, Digital Heritage, Architecture, Culture or Arts, etc;

2. Good command of English, especially in written English;

3. Good at information collection and analysis, and have academic research experience;

4. Published research papers are preferred;

5. full-time interns;

6. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibility

1. Preliminary basic academic research;

2. Write analysis reports on your research topic;

Internship subsidy

100 Yuan/ day is provided as subsidy. Accommodation and meals will not be provided.
